Year 2014

In 2014 Scan Tronic elaborated a planar ZrO2 dual cell with an integrated heater, named lately Wide Lambda Sensor OS 2014. This particular device was elaborated for the measurement of the oxygen content value of exhaust gases.

An important characteristic was added to this device and namely the power of controlling the heater supply voltage. In this way the temperature of the sensor is kept at the operational point. At the same time, it is featured to avoid the damage of its own ceramic, by limiting the heater power during the water condensation phase.

The OS 2014 sensor was also designed as a supplement, which will operate further with an oxygen controller developed by Scan Tronic in 2016.
